VISION AND VALUES
Mission Statement: “ Room to Grow.”
At Arreton St George’s CE Primary school our Christian values of Honesty, Friendship and Perseverance underpin the ethos of our school and support the spiritual and moral development of our children, their families and the wider community. These three values are at the heart of the Christian faith and we believe that they make our school a safe, caring and nurturing place and create an environment in which we can all grow and learn. Everybody is valued as an individual and supported to develop and display their own talents and skills. We use these values to guide our daily school lives. Adults and children alike strive to demonstrate Honesty; Friendship and Perseverance in all situations.
In recognition of how important our School Values are, we acknowledge individuals from across the school who have been observed by adults or peers to have demonstrated the School Values.
Our School values are displayed throughout the school, including our Worship board in the main entrance and our School values board where children are celebrated for demonstrating and applying the School Values.
The ethos of our school is best summed up by one of our pupils who said “ We are all different and that’s fine, we all get on and accept people for who they are.”
