A massive thank you to the parents who gave up their time on the Friday of half term to help improve our reception class outdoor area. They have cleared and tidied the main area and Mr Harrison fitted a fantastic sink unit to be used as part of their mud kitchen.  Thank you to Mr & Mrs Curtis, Mrs Blaize, Mr & Mrs Hill and Mr Harrison for all of their hard work. The children have been having lots of fun this week playing outdoors and using their new mud kitchen.

Gruffalo Class raised £25.47 by covering an outline of a dinosaur with loose change for their class charity Cat’s Protection.

Gruffalo Class visited St. George's Church and met with Reverend Janice to find out about the significance of The Cross to Christians.  They went on a treasure hunt to see how many crosses they could find in the church, the children were very good at spotting them. Reverend Janice told them that the shape of The Cross represents God coming down to the earth and having his arms wide open to Everyone. As they left Reverend Janice gave every child a Palm Cross to take home.
